Shipping:

We carefully pack and seal each box. Papayas are treated with Sure Beam electronic pasteurization according the USDA requirements for environmental safety. There will be a “Treated by Irradiation” stamp on the box. Our box prices include shipping in the US. Certain locations in Alaska may require an additional fee.

Due to the nature of the product, papayas are only shipped ONCE every two weeks. Orders are processed on Sunday for Tuesday/Wednesday shipment through FedEx. Papayas generally arrive 2-3 days (Thursday or Friday) after shipment. If for some reason there is any delay in shipping, we will notify you.

Through our shippers, we guarantee delivery in two business days from shipping date to the following western states: CA, OR, WA, NV, AZ. It takes one additional day to all other states. If you will not be home to accept deliver, consider using a business address or an address someone will be at to securely receive your papayas. Please allow a few days for order processing.

*Due to repeated shipping complications, we are unable to ship to Alaska.

Volcano Isle Fruit Co, Inc. ships only the highest quality fruit. However, things can happen, especially with shipping from Hawaii to the rest of the USA. Due to the perishable nature of fresh papayas, we only ship on days we can, with our shipper, guarantee timely arrival to your door.

  1. If your package arrives damaged, or
  2. If your package arrives beyond the guaranteed delivery time and this causes quality problems, or
  3. If the product does not meet your satisfaction,

We will be happy to replace it. However, we must be notified within 48 hours of receipt of package. Please take pictures if possible.
